The Adventures of Pete and Pete

I found this community after searching endlessly for the answer to my Pete and Pete question
I'm really hoping fellow fans can help me out!

There is an episode of P&P where some kid has a massive sandwich on the bus. I remember it had potato chips on it. It was called something like "the perfect kid's sandwich" or something to that effect. Can anyone help me??

I think you must be confused, I don't remember this from any episode of Pete and Pete. But in Yellow Fever, Teddy had a problem where he would eat his entire lunch on the bus before they got to the destination, and he had a special plan to take one bite every half hour so he could still have 1/2 a sandwich at lunch time.

Are you sure this was an episode of Pete & Pete and not, say, some other Nick show from the same era? Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Clarissa Explains It All... I definitely remember a phase where I put potato chips on my sandwiches and it was BECAUSE of something from TV around that time, but I don't remember what it was. You sure it wasn't, maybe, You Can't Do That on Television reruns?

Thanks so much, guys! You are all probably right. I bet it was from another Nickelodeon show. I put potato chips on my sandwiches because of what I saw too!

I'm pretty sure that was a short that used to air on Nickelodeon called "As The School Bus Turns." There were several of them, and I think that sandwich with potato chips was one.

I could be very wrong here, but in the back of my mind I seem to think that Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi were behind this particular series of shorts. I can't find anything on the internet that confirms it, though. I could be making that up. :-)
